Build Your Engineering Career With Hands-On Impact

UE Manufacturing is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to support the development, design, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation of electrical systems used in power equipment, rotating machinery, and industrial applications.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career electrical engineer who wants to move beyond theoretical design and gain hands-on experience in engineering, manufacturing, production assembly, testing, and field installation. You will work alongside experienced engineers, designers, production personnel, vendors, and internal customers while building your technical expertise.

Responsibilities

      What You'll Do

    • Support the design, development, analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation of low- and medium-voltage electrical power equipment.
    • Assist with electrical systems involving engine-driven rotating machinery, AC/DC drives, and control systems.
    • Read, interpret, create, and revise electrical drawings, schematics, technical specifications, bills of material, and engineering reports.
    • Use CAD and other engineering software to support electrical product design and documentation.
    • Apply basic electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis and voltage-drop calculations.
    • Help select and evaluate electrical and electronic components for new product designs and obsolete-part replacements.
    • Support equipment installation, operation, maintenance, and repair reviews to verify compliance with design specifications.
    • Assist with product testing and research to evaluate equipment, component, and system feasibility and performance.
    • Partner with production assembly and test teams to identify and resolve manufacturing or performance issues.
    • Help prepare technical instructions for field modifications and testing requests.
    • Participate in product design reviews and provide technical information to senior engineering team members.
    • Collaborate professionally with vendors, internal customers, designers, engineers, and production personnel.
    • Follow applicable regulatory requirements, electrical codes, project schedules, safety practices, and company procedures.
    • Any and other job duties assigned.
